Abstract

U ovom radu su opisana mehanička svojstva ziđa otpornih na seizmička djelovanja. Poznato je da postojeće zidane konstrukcije u Republici Hrvatskoj nemaju dovoljnu otpornost na seizmička djelovanja. Kako bi provodili adekvatne sanacije zidanih građevina nužno je provođenje istražnih radova u svrhu određivanja mehaničkih svojstava. Klasificirana su svojstva ziđa te je dana usporedba svojstva neojačanog ziđa sa svojstvima ojačanog. Izdvojene i objašnjene su eksperimentalne metode koje se primjenjuju „in situ“ na ziđu u svrhu istražnih radova: ispitivanje posmične čvrstoće, određivanje modula elastičnosti, određivanje tlačne čvrstoća, itd. Prikazani su primjeri određivanja mehaničkih karakteristika opeke i ziđa u laboratoriju. Navedene su konvencionalne metode ojačanja ziđa. U radu su prikazani rezultati provedenih istražnih radova na stambenoj građevini, te je dodatno izrađen numerički model za potrebe analize zidane konstrukcije.

Abstract (english)

This thesis describes the mechanical properties of masonry walls resistant to seismic action. It is known that existing masonry structures in the Republic of Croatia do not have a satisfying level of seismic resistance. To adequately perform seismic reconstructions of masonry structures, it is mandatory to conduct experimental investigations of mechanical properties. The properties of masonry are classified, and a comparison of unreinforced and reinforced masonry walls is given. The experimental methods that are used in-situ are explained and sorted out, such as; shear test, modulus of elasticity, compression test, etc. As well in the thesis, it is presented the determination of the mechanical properties of bricks and masonry walls in the laboratory conditions. Furthermore, conventional strengthening methods of masonry walls are shown. The experimental research works performed on a residential building are presented, and an additional numerical model is created for analysis of masonry structure.
