Abstract

Koncept trajnih kolnika prisutan je u cestogradnji zadnjih dvadeset godina, a odnosi se na postupke projektiranja i izgradnje asfaltnih kolničkih konstrukcija čiji je predviđeni životni vijek duži od 50 godina. Cilj u radu prikazanog istraživanja bio je ocijeniti pogodnost primjene asfaltnih mješavina koje se u Hrvatskoj tradicionalno koriste za izvedbu asfaltnih slojeva u
okviru koncepta trajnih kolnika. Analiza je provedena za devet kolnika različite debljine, sastava i rasporeda asfaltnih slojeva. Rezultati provedene analize pokazuju da se pravilnim odabirom debljine, sastava i rasporeda asfaltnih slojeva može definirati kolničku konstrukciju produženog vijeka trajanja. Analiza trajnih kolničkih konstrukcija pokazala je da nešto veća početna ulaganja u izgradnju rezultiraju značajnim smanjenjem troškova održavanja kolničkih konstrukcija.

Abstract (english)

The concept of perpetual pavement has been present in road construction for the last twenty years. Perpetual pavement is asphalt pavement designed and constructed to last longer than 50 years without requiring major structural rehabilitation or reconstruction.The aim of the present study was to evaluate the suitability of the application of asphalt mixtures that are traditionally used in Croatia within the concept of perpetual pavements. The analysis was carried out for nine pavements of different thicknesses, composition and allocation of asphalt layers. The results of the conducted analysis show that the right selection of the thickness, composition and arrangement of asphalt layers of result pavement structure of the prolonged lifetime. The analysis of perpetual pavement structures indicated that a slightly higher initial investment in construction, would result in a significant reduction of pavements maintenance costs.
