Abstract

U završnom radu prikazana je mogućnost proizvodnje električne energije iz solarnih fotonaponskih elektrana na lokaciji zagrebačkog UPOV-a (uređaj za pročišćavanje otpadnih voda). Energetski sektor zahtjeva temeljne promjene kako bi se postiglo održivu budućnost, a solarni fotonaponski sustavi igraju ključnu ulogu u ostvarivanju tog cilja, pružajući potencijal za čistu i obnovljivu proizvodnju električne energije. Analizirana je lokacija zagrebačkog UPOV-a, na način da je izračunata snaga solarnog fotonaponskog sustava u odnosu na dostupnu površinu za potencijalnu izgradnju solarne elektrane te očekivana količina proizvedene električne energije. Procjena potencijala solarnog zračenja i proizvodnje električne energije dobivena je uz pomoć programa PVGIS. Kroz rad je detaljno opisana lokacija, veličina i vrsta solarnih panela te njihova učinkovitost. Investicijski troškovi procijenjeni su na oko 34,7 milijuna eura, dok godišnja proizvodnja električne energije iznosi oko 36,1 milijun kWh. Na temelju predviđenih investicijskih troškova određeno je vrijeme povrata investicije s iznosom od 12 godina.

Abstract (english)

In the final thesis, the potential for electricity generation from solar photovoltaic plants at the location of the Zagreb WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plant) is presented. The energy sector calls for fundamental changes to achieve a sustainable future, and solar photovoltaic systems play a pivotal role in achieving this goal, offering the potential for clean and renewable electricity production. The Zagreb WWTP location was analyzed by calculating the power of the solar photovoltaic system in relation to the available surface area for potential solar power plant construction and the expected amount of electricity generated. The estimation of solar radiation and electricity production potential was obtained using the PVGIS (Photovoltaic Geographical Information System) software. The thesis provides a detailed description of the location, size, and type of solar panels, as well as their efficiency. The investment costs are estimated at approximately 2 million euros, while the annual electrical energy production amounts to around 36.1 million kWh. Based on the projected investment costs, a payback period of 12 years has been determined.
