Abstract

Proizvodnja običnog Portland cementa (OPC) zahtjeva velike količine energije i ispušta velike količine CO2 u atmosferu. Utjecaj industrije cementa na zagađenje se nastoji smanjiti korištenjem novih tehnologija izrade betona, gdje se cement zamjenjuje drugim vezivima čija je proizvodnja manje štetna za okoliš, među kojima je i magnezij fosfatni cement (MPC). U ovom diplomskom radu provedena su ispitivanja na uzorcima MPC paste. Uzorci su ojačani otpadnim i tvorničkim bazaltnim vlaknima (BF). Bazaltna vlakna se dobivaju iz kamena bazalta kojeg ima u izobilju, pokazuju bolja kemijska i mehanička svojstva te su prirodnija, jeftinija i zahtijevaju manje energije za proizvodnju u usporedbi s ostalim vrstama vlakana (ponajviše čeličnih i staklenih). Nadalje, u radu su obrađeni kemijski sastavi, mehanička svojstva i proizvodnja MPC i BF, dok su na uzorcima MPC paste ojačanim BF provedena ispitivanja autogenog skupljanja, promjene temperature i relativne vlažnosti te tlačna čvrstoća i čvrstoća na savijanje.

Abstract (english)

The production of ordinary Portland cement (OPC) consumes significant amounts of energy and results in the emission of substantial quantities of CO2 into the atmosphere. In order to reduce the polution impact of the cement industry, new technologies are being used for concrete production, replacing cement with other binders whose production is less harmful to the environment, including magnesium phosphate cement (MPC). This master thesis includes tests performed on specimens of MPC paste. These samples were reinforced with basalt fibers (BF). Basalt fibers are obtained derived from abundant basalt rock and exhibit superior chemical and mechanical properties. They are also more environmentally friendly, cost-effective, and require less energy to produce than other types of fibers, particularly steel and glass. In addition, this thesis addresses the chemical compositions, mechanical properties and manufacturing of MPC and BF. It also includes test results of MPC paste specimens to determine autogenous shrinkage, temperature and relative humidity evolution, as well as compressive and flexural strength.
