Abstract

Hrvatsko građevinarstvo doživljava eksponencijalni rast, a potreba za kvalificiranom radnom snagom veća je nego ikad. Domaća kvalificirana radna snaga u prošlom desetljeću kontinuirano je napuštala državu u potrazi za većom plaćom, boljim uvjetima rada i višim standardom života Zbog navedenih razloga, Hrvatska je unazad nekoliko godina suočena s ozbiljnim nedostatkom radne snage u građevinskom sektoru koji ne može pokriti iz domaćeg bazena radnika. Uvođenjem stranih radnika otvorili su se izazovi širokog spektra koji se tiču pitanja hrvatskog zakonodavstva, prakse provođenja mjera zaštite na radu i neophodnog podizanja plaća radnika. Cilj rada je objektivno sagledati sve čimbenike uvođenja strane radne snage u građevinarstvo i donijeti zaključke o prednostima i nedostacima istoga. U tu je svrhu provedeno anketno istraživanje među stranim radnicima na gradilištu koje je ispitalo percepciju života i rada u Hrvatskoj. Abstract (english)

The Croatian construction industry is experiencing exponential growth. The need for skilled labour is greater than ever. Croatian skilled labour has been leaving the country over the past decade in search of higher wages, better working conditions, and a higher standard of living. Due to these reasons, Croatia has faced a serious shortage of labour in the construction sector in recent years, which cannot be met within the domestic labour pool. Challenges for foreign workers arise from the differences in culture, language, legal status, work environment and practice of implementing workplace safety measures. The goal of this thesis is to objectively assess all the factors related to the introduction of foreign labour into the Croatian construction industry and draw conclusions about its advantages and disadvantages. For this purpose, a questionnaire survey was conducted among foreign workers at the construction site. The survey examined the perception of living and working in Croatia.
