U radu je obrađena tema teorija čvrstoće kao kriterija loma ili plastičnosti za homogene i izotropne materijale. U prvom dijelu je opisana teorijska pozadina potrebe za korištenjem teorija čvrstoća. Drugi dio sadrži objašnjenje teorija čvrstoće koje se koriste u inženjerskoj praksi kako bi se predvidio slom materijala pri višeosnom stanju naprezanja. This thesis elaborates theories of failure as criteria of fracture or yielding for homogeneous and isotropic materials. The first part explains the theoretical background of reasons for using theories of failure. The second part contains explanations of failure theories which are used in engineering practice in order to predict the material failure in multiaxial stress state.
