Abstract

Cilj ovog rada jest pobliže objasniti tradicionalne drvene krovne konstrukcije, odnosno njihovu povijest primjene, tipološke karakteristike, materijale te načine gradnje. Tradicionalne drvene krovne konstrukcije u visokogradnji predstavljaju važan dio arhitektonske baštine i tehnološkog razvoja graditeljstva obzirom na njihovu primjenu iz daleke prošlosti kada su prirodni materijali bili glavni izvor za gradnju. Drvo je postalo kao osnovni materijal za gradnju tradicionalnih drvenih krovnih konstrukcija zbog svoje dostupnosti, lakoće obrade te izuzetnih mehaničkih svojstava. Kroz povijest, tradicionalne drvene krovne konstrukcije su se razvijale u skladu s lokalnim klimatskim uvjetima, regijom i dostupnim resursima. Zbog svojih prednosti su krovne konstrukcije koje se i dalje koriste u širokoj primjeni. Gradnja tradicionalnih drvenih krovnih konstrukcija zahtjeva visoku razinu vještine i iskustva. Također, razmotrit će se nekoliko primjera izvedenih tradicionalnih drvenih krovnih konstrukcija kako bi se što bolje opisale njihove značajke.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this paper is to provide a detailed explanation of traditional wooden roof structures, including their history of application, typological characteristics, materials and construction methods. Traditional wooden roof structures ih high-rise construction represent an important part of arhitectural heritage and the technological development of building, considering their use from ancient times when natural materials were the primary source for construction. Wood became the fundamental material for constructing traditional wooden roof structures due to its availability, ease of processing and excellent mechanical properties. Throughout history, traditional wooden roof structures have developed in accordance with local climatic conditions, regional characteristics and available resources. Due to their advantages, these roof structures continue to be widely used. The construction of traditional wooden roof structures requires a high level of skill and experience. Additionally, several examples of executed tradicional wooden roof structures will be consider to better describe their features.
