Abstract

U ovom radu analizirana je otpornost postojeće armiranobetonske okvirne konstrukcije.
Odabrana je početna geometrija koja predstavlja tipičnu okvirnu konstrukciju izgrađenu
tijekom druge polovice 20. stoljeća. Pri proračunu su uzeti u obzir pretpostavljeni ulazni
podaci, uključujući kvalitetu betona i armature te količinu i raspored armature. Za analizu
konstrukcije korišten je programski paket Abaqus, pri čemu je beton modeliran volumnim
konačnim elementima, dok su za armaturu korišteni štapni elementi. Kako bi se što preciznije
simuliralo ponašanje plastifikacije elemenata okvira, primijenjeni su nelinearni materijalni
modeli. Ponašanje betona modelirano je korištenjem Concrete Damaged Plasticity (CDP)
modela, koji omogućuje precizniju simulaciju nelinearnog ponašanja betona pod
opterećenjem, uključujući pojavu pukotina i degradaciju čvrstoće. Na temelju dobivenih
rezultata definirane su krivulje kapaciteta plastičnih zglobova na kritičnim dijelovima
konstrukcije. Daljnji proračun izveden je primjenom nelinearne statičke metode postupnog
guranja s koncentriranom plastičnosti, koristeći programski paket ETABS. Provedene su dvije
analize temeljene prema normi HRN EN-1998, i dvije analiza prema američkom standardu za
ocjenu i poboljšanje seizmičke otpornosti postojećih građevina ASCE 41. U završnom dijelu
rada uspoređeni su rezultati, dan je kritički osvrt te su izneseni zaključci i smjernice za buduća
istraživanja.

Abstract (english)

In this paper, the structural resistance of an existing reinforced concrete frame structure is
analyzed. The initial geometry was selected to represent a typical frame structure built during
the second half of the 20th century. The calculations take into account assumed input data,
including the quality of concrete and reinforcement, as well as the quantity and arrangement
of reinforcement. The structural analysis was performed using the Abaqus software package,
where the concrete was modeled with solid finite elements, while the reinforcement was
represented using beam elements. To accurately simulate the plasticization behavior of the
frame elements, nonlinear material models were applied. The behavior of concrete was
modeled using the Concrete Damaged Plasticity (CDP) model, which allows for a more precise
simulation of the nonlinear behavior of concrete under loading, including crack formation and
strength degradation. Based on the obtained results, capacity curves of plastic hinges were
defined at critical sections of the structure. Further calculations were carried out using the
nonlinear static pushover method with concentrated plasticity, utilizing the ETABS software
package. Two analyses were performed according to the HRN EN-1998 standard, and two
analysis were conducted following the American ASCE 41 standard for seismic assessment and
retrofitting of existing buildings. In the final part of the study, the results were compared, a
critical review was provided, and conclusions and guidelines for future research were
presented.
