Abstract

Tema „Fasade od betona visokih uporabnih svojstava“ razrađuje pojam betona visokih uporabnih svojstava, odnosno njegovu primjenu u izradi fasada. Tijekom posljednjih dvadeset godina u istraživanju su se dogodili značajni pomaci u primjeni betona visokih uporabnih svojstava (BVUS), koji se odlikuje izvrsnim reološkim ponašanjima koja uključuju svojstva obradivosti, samozbijanja i samopropustnosti te poboljšanja u mehaničkim i trajnosnim svojstvima s vrlo visokom tlačnom čvrstoćom. To je „budući“ materijal s potencijalom da bude održivo rješenje za poboljšanje održivosti zgrada i drugih komponenti infrastrukture. Ovaj rad će dati pregled BVUS-a s naglaskom na njegovo temeljno uvođenje, sastav te primjenu na fasadama. BVUS ima nekoliko prednosti u odnosu na konvencionalni beton, ali je uporaba ograničena zbog visokih troškova i ograničenja zbog poštivanja normi.

Abstract (english)

The thesis „Ultra high performance concrete in façade“ elaborates the concept ultrahigh performance concrete and its application in the construction of façades. Over the last twenty years, advances have taken place in the research and application of ultrahigh performance concrete (UHPC), which exhibits excellent rheological behaviours that include workability, self-placing and self-densifying properties, improved in mechanical and durability performance with very high compressive strength. It is the ‘future’ material with the potential to be a viable solution for improving the sustainability of buildings and other infrastructure components. This paper will give an overview of UHPC focusing on its fundamental introduction, composition and application in the construction of facades. UHPC has several advantages over conventional concrete but the use of it is limited due to the high cost and limited design codes.
