Abstract
Asfalt je crna ili tamnosmeđa, prirodna ili umjetna masa, koja se sastoji od bitumena i mineralnih tvari. Prirodni asfalt upotrebljava se od davnina u razne svrhe, a danas je neizostavan dio suvremene kolničke konstrukcije. U ovom radu opisana je tehnologija proizvodnje asfaltnih mješavina te su navedena svojstva svake od njih. Opisane su komponente za njihovu izradu, s pripadajućim svojstvima koja utječu na samu mješavinu. Također prikazane su lokacije asfaltnih baza u Hrvatskoj te je istaknuta mogućnost recikliranja asfalta, postupka od kojeg se tek očekuje mnogo u budućnosti.
Abstract (english)
Asphalt is black or dark brown, natural or artificial mass, consisting of bitumen and minerals. Natural asphalt has been used since ancient times for various purposes, and today it is an indispensable part of modern pavement construction. This paper describes the technology of production of asphalt mixtures and lists the properties of each of them. The components for their manufacture are described, with the corresponding properties affecting the mixture itself. The locations of asphalt bases in Croatia are also shown, and the possibility of recycling asphalt is highlighted, a process from which much is expected in the future.
