Abstract

Zbog zahtjeva za povećanjem energetske učinkovitosti u zgradama, a s druge strane rastućeg problema zagađenja okoliša i generiranja velikih količina građevinskog otpada, sve se češće pribjegava upotrebi prirodnih materijala za toplinsku izolaciju. U ovom radu, temeljem pregleda dostupne literature opisana su i analizirana toplinska svojstva i reakcija na požar prirodnih toplinsko-izolacijskih materijala. Posebno su izdvojeni konoplja, drvena i kokosova vlakna, pluto i ovčja vuna kao predstavnici različitih skupina prirodnih izolacijskih materijala. Opisan je način njihove proizvodnje i mogućnosti primjene, te uspoređena svojstava s najčešće korištenim konvencionalnim toplinsko-izolacijskim materijalima u Republici Hrvatskoj. Za kraj, istražena je proizvodnja i dostupnost prirodnih materijala za toplinsku izolaciju na tržištu u Republici Hrvatskoj.

Abstract (english)

Due to the requirement to increase energy efficiency in buildings, and on the other hand the growing problem of environmental pollution and the generation of large amounts of construction waste, the use of natural materials for thermal insulation is increasingly resorted to. In this paper, based on a review of the available literature, the thermal properties and reaction to fire of natural thermal insulation materials are described and analyzed. Hemp, wood and coconut fibers, cork and sheep wool were singled out as representatives of different groups of natural insulation materials. The method of their production and possibilities of application are described, and the properties are compared with the most commonly used conventional thermal insulation materials in the Republic of Croatia. Finally, the production and availability of natural materials for thermal insulation on the market in the Republic of Croatia were investigated.
