Abstract

Sve veća zagađenost okoliša dovodi čovječanstvo do zabrinutosti. Porastom broja stanovništva potreba za čistim zrakom, vodom i ostalim elementarnim potrebama je sve veća. Budući da je poznata činjenica kako je građevinska industrija, a posebice proizvodnja cementa jedna od najvećih zagađivača okoliša, sve više se teži „zelenoj“ gradnji. Ponukani tom činjenicom, znanstvenici sve više istražuju te nastoje implementirati alternativna veziva u gradnji. Razvojem aplikacije SimaPro znanstvenicima je uvelike olakšana i ubrzana analiza ekološkog otiska alternativnih veziva. SimaPro je vodeće LCA softversko rješenje, s 30 – godišnjom reputacijom u industriji i akademskoj zajednici u više od 80 zemalja. SimaPro je softver pomoću kojeg procjenjujemo ekološke karakteristike proizvoda, odnosno primjenjujemo LCA metodu kako bi saznali na koji način te u kojoj mjeri naš proizvod utječe na okoliš. Pomaže nam da na osnovu dobivenih podatka poboljšamo karakteristike ispitanog proizvoda.

Abstract (english)

Increasing environmental pollution is bringing humanity to concern. As the population grows, the need for clean air, water and other primary needs is growing. Since it is known that the construction industry, special cement production, is one of the biggest polluters of the environment, "green" construction is becoming more popular. Therefore, scientists are increasingly searching and seeking to implement an alternative binders in construction. The development of SimaPro applications has greatly facilitated and accelerated the analysis of the ecological footprint of alternative binders. SimaPro is a leading LCA software solution, with a 30 year reputation in industry and academia in more than 80 countries. SimaPro is software that we use to assess the ecological characteristics of a product. We apply the LCA method to find out how our product affects the environment. It helps us to improve the characteristics of the tested product based on the obtained data.
