Abstract

Otpad je vrlo složeni problem svake zemlje, te svaka zemlja provodi određenu politiku kako bi riješila taj problem. Gospodarenje otpadom je vrlo složena djelatnost koja zahvaća sve grane gospodarstva, proizvodnje i potrošnje, sadržava niz procesa i tehnologija kojima se nastoji što pravilnije upravljati otpadom. Glavni cilj gospodarenja otpadom je u najvećoj mogućoj mjeri smanjiti problem nastanka otpada, te neizbježan otpad zbrinjavati na adekvatan i što manje štetan način. Najveći problem predstavljaju posljedice neadekvatnog postupanja s otpadom, koje uvelike uništava okoliš, a samim time štetno je i za zdravlje ljudi i životinja. Posljedice neadekvatnog postupanja s otpadom mogu dovesti do potpunog uništenja biološkog sustava. Svaka zemlja donosi svoj Plan gospodarenja otpadom na razini države koji se dijeli na manje jedinice, gradove koji donese svoj Plan gospodarenja otpadom. Planom gospodarenja otpadom postiže se racionalno gospodarenje otpadom, čime se povećava standard života grada, a samim time i države.

Abstract (english)

Waste is a very complex problem of every country, and every country pursues a certain policy to solve this problem. Waste management is a very complex activity that affects all branches of the economy, production and consumption, contains a number of processes and technologies that seek to manage waste as properly as possible. The main goal of waste management is to reduce the problem of waste generation as much as possible, and to dispose of unavoidable waste in an adequate and less harmful way. The biggest problem is the consequences of inadequate waste management, which greatly destroys the environment, and thus is harmful to human and animal health. The consequences of inadequate waste management can lead to the complete destruction of the biological system. Each country adopts its own State-level Waste Management Plan, which is divided into smaller units, cities, which adopts its own Waste Management Plan. The waste management plan achieves rational waste management, which increases the standard of living of the city, and thus the state.
