Abstract

Osnovni cilj rada bio je definirati teorem virtualnog rada i prikazati njegovu primjenu u rješavanju problema dinamike i statike. U teorijskom dijelu rada prikazana je definicija polja pomaka sustava kao i teorem virtualnog rada odnosno virtualnih pomaka. U mehanici krutih tijela virtualni pomaci definirani su kao zamišljeni, dovoljno mali pomaci omogućeni vezama u sistemu, a u mehanici deformabilnih tijela kao zamišljeni dovoljno mali pomaci koji zadovoljavaju uvjete kompatibilnosti pomaka i koji su na ležajevima jednaki nuli, neovisno o mogućim zadanim prisilnim pomacima ležajeva. Rad sila na virtualnim pomacima naziva se virtualnim radom. U praktičnom dijelu rada je kroz riješene primjere i zadatke pokazano kako se korištenjem teorema o virtualnom radu može pojednostaviti rješavanje problema u statici i dinamici kao i u analizi otkazivanja elemenata.

Abstract (english)

The objective of this bachelor thesis was to define The principle of virtual work and its application in solving the problems of dynamics and statics. In the theoretical part of the paper the definition of the system displacement field as well as the theorem of virtual work (virtual displacements) is explained. In rigid body mechanics, virtual displacements are defined as imaginary, small enough displacements enabled by connections in the system, and in deformable body mechanics as sufficiently small displacements that satisfy displacement compatibility requirements and are equal to zero on bearings, regardless of possible default forced bearing displacements. The work of forces on virtual displacements is called virtual work. In the practical part of the paper, through solved examples and tasks, it is shown how using the theorem of virtual work can simplify the solution of problems in statics and dynamics as well as in the analysis of element failure.
