Abstract

Organizaciji koja ima tendenciju prema poslovnoj uspješnosti i razvoju neophodan je angažman najboljeg menadžmenta koji
uspješno provodi organizacijsku kulturu. Organizacijska kultura relativno je nov koncept koji je nastao kao produkt spoznaje važnosti ljudske dimenzije u organizacijama. Obzirom da se temelji na ljudskom aspektu organizacije, njeno djelovanje može se uočiti i na drugim elementima organizacije kao što su primjerice poslovna strategija i organizacijska struktura. S takvim karakteristikama predstavlja bitnu komponentu za građevinska poduzeća kod kojih je ostvarivanje profita nemoguće prisutnosti ljudi. Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je teoretski obraditi pojam organizacijske kulture i njene važnosti te na osnovu toga, korištenjem određenih metodologija, provesti istraživanje kojim će se analizirati i na kraju odrediti postojeća dominantna kultura poduzeća ST-GRAMIT d.o.o. Pristupi korišteni za prikupljanje podataka su standardizirani upitnik Charlesa Handyja te intervjui s troje djelatnika na različitim pozicijama. Statističkom obradom podataka evidentirano je postojanje dviju kultura koje su dominantne. Prva je kultura zadatka, a druga kultura moći. Također provedeno ne dodatno istraživanje kako bi se odredilo kakvu kulturu žele zaposleni. Za ovo istraživanje korišten je isti upitnik kao u prethodnom istraživanju, blage izmjene. Prema rezultatima, zaposleni bi htjeli ostati na postojećoj kulturi uz smanjenje utjecaja kulture moći i povećanje utjecaja kulture uloga.

Abstract (english)

For an organization that has a tendency towards business success and development necessary to engage the best management in terms of organizational culture. Organizational culture is a relatively new concept that has emerged as a product of recognizing the importance of the human dimension in organizations. Since it has been based on the humanaspect organization, its impact can be seen in other elements of the organization such as business strategy and organizational structure. With such characteristics, it represents a very important component for construction companies where making a profit is impossible without involvement of people. The goal of this thesis is to theoretically analyze theconcept organizational culture and its importance. According to that, using certain methodologies, research will be conducted that will analyze and ultimately determine the existing dominant culture of the company ST-GRAMIT d.o.o. The approaches used for collecting data are the standardized Charles Handy questionnaire and interviews with three employees in different positions. Statistical data has revealed the existence of two dominant cultures. First belongs to task culture and second place to power culture. Additional research was conducted so as to determine the culture desired by the employees. The same questionnaire was used for this research but with slight changes. According to the results, employees like to stay within the existing culture with reducing the influence of power culture increasing the influence of role culture.
