Abstract

U Europski građevinski sektor investirano je 2018. godine 1,472 bilijuna eura ali se zbog korupcije i lošeg upravljanja projektima gubi između 10 do 30 posto novca. Godišnja stopa produktivnosti građevinskog sektora porasla je za samo 1% u posljednjih dvadeset godina što je izravno povezano s nedovoljnim ulaganjem u istraživanje i razvoj. Ovaj rad bavi se pregledom literature na temu BIM-a. Objašnjeni su neki osnovni pojmovi i podjele vezane uz BIM, analizirani su novi procesi, te su navedeni i neki propisi kojima se promovira njegovo korištenje. Na primjerima infrastrukturnih projekata prikazane su prednosti koje BIM donosi, ali su istaknuti i segmenti BIM-a na kojima još ima prostora za napredak.

Abstract (english)

In the European construction sector, 1.472 billion euros were invested in 2018, but between 10 and 30 percent of the money is lost due to corruption and poor project management. The annual productivity rate of the construction sector has increased by only 1% in the last twenty years, which is directly related to insufficient investment in research and development. This paper reviews the literature on BIM. Some basic concepts and shared links with BIM are explained, new processes are analyzed, some regulations are listed that promote its use. Examples of infrastructure projects show the benefits of BIM, but also highlight the segments of BIM where there is still room for improvement.
