Abstract

U radu je prikazana prednost i razvoj posebnog betona s efektom samočišćenja u cilju projektiranja ekološki prihvatljivih konstrukcija koje doprinose očuvanju okoliša od sveprisutnih zagađivača. Posebni beton, čije su glavne karakteristike detaljno opisane u radu, je propusni beton s efektom samočišćenja. Efekt samočišćenja ostvaren je upotrebom titanijevog dioksida (TiO2). Osim teoretski opisanog mehanizma djelovanja takvog betona, prikazane su razne studije i ispitivanja provedena korištenjem takvog betona. Navedena su glavna mehanička i trajnosna svojstva propusnog betona s metodama njihovog ispitivanja. Zaključno je prikazana primjena propusnog betona s efektom samočišćenja s naglaskom na njegovu primjenu u području sanacija građevina.

Abstract (english)

The paper presents the advantages and development of special concrete type with self - cleaning effect with the goal of designing environmentally acceptable ecological constructions that contribute to the preservation of the environment from ubiquitous pollutants. The special concrete type, which main characteristics are described in detail in the paper, is self-cleaning pervious concrete. This effect of self-cleaning was achieved using titanium dioxide (TiO2). In addition to the theoretically described mechanism of action of such concrete, various studies and tests performed using such concrete are presented. The main mechanical and durability properties of pervious concrete with the methods of their tests are listed. In conclusion, the application of self-cleaning pervious concrete is presented, with an emphasis on its example in the area of the building renovation.
