Abstract

Prirodne naslage tla neizostavno uključuju vodu. Kada ne bi bilo vode u tlu, geotehničko bi inženjerstvo kao grana bila puno jednostavnije. Kretanje vode kroz tlo utječe na svojstva i ponašanje tla na značajan način. Na konstrukcijske radove i izvođenje,te na dovršene konstrukcije može utjecati voda u tlu. Podzemna voda se često susreće tijekom građevinskih radova, način na koji kretanje vode kroz tlo može doći, te zbog toga učinci vode stvaraju znatni interes za praksu geotehničkog inženjerstva. Rad započinje definiranjem vlažnosti tla koja se utvrđuje u laboratoriju za svaki uzorak tla, budući da voda ima značajan utjecaj na mehaničko ponašanje tla. Nakon nje razrađujemo propusnost tla, te rad završava fenomenom kapilarnosti kao još jednim od najvažnijih svojstava u tlu.

Abstract (english)

Natural soil deposits inevitably include water. If there were no water in the soil, geotechnical engineering as a branch would be much simpler. The movement of water through the soil affects the properties and behavior of the soil in a significant way. Construction operations and the performance of completed construction could be influenced by soilwater. Ground water is frequently encountered during construction operations; the manner inwhich movement of water through soil can occur and its effects are, therefore, of considerable interest in the practice of geotechnical engineering. The work begins with defining the soil moisture determined in the laboratory for each soil sample, since water has a significant impact on the mechanical behavior of the soil. After that, we work out the permeability of the soil, and the work ends with the phenomenon of capillarity as another of the most important properties in the soil.
