Abstract

U diplomskom radu detaljno je opisan postupak pripreme i izvođenja ispitivanja mosta „Stara Ka-rašica“ probnim opterećenjem. Ispitivanje konstrukcija i njihovih modela opterećenjem omogućava inženjerima prikupljanje pouzdanih podataka o ponašanju i stanju konstrukcije. Probno opterećenje mostova koristi se za ocjenu sposobnosti mosta za prijenos predviđenog opterećenja. Ispitivanje mosta „Stara Karašica“ provedeno je prema hrvatskoj normi HRN U.M 1.046:1984 Ispitivanje mo-stova probnim opterećenjima. Ispitivanje probnim opterećenjem se dijeli na statičko i dinamičko ispitivanje. Statičkim ispitivanjem uobičajeno se određuju vrijednosti pomaka i relativnih defor-macija rasponskog sklopa pod poznatim - statičkim probnim opterećenjem. Dinamičko ispitivanje temelji se na određivanju dinamičkih karakteristika konstrukcije te mjerenju odgovora na dinami-čko opterećenje u realnim uvjetima upotrebe. Usporedbom eksperimentalno određenih vrijednosti sa onima predviđenim projektom dobivamo uvid u stanje izvedenog mosta i njegovu sigurnost prije puštanja u promet. U slučaju njihove učinkovite primjene, ova ispitivanja mogu produžiti uporabni vijek postojećih mostova na ekonomski racionalan način. Tijekom izrade ovog rada, korišten je dokument Primer on Bridge Load Testing, izrađen od strane tijela Transportation Research Board (grupa Evaluation of Transportation Structures) koje preds-tavlja jedan od sedam glavnih programa u američkoj Nacionalnoj akademiji znanosti, inženjerstva i medicine. Dokument je izdan u svrhu ažuriranja relevantne dokumentacije američke organizacije AASHTO (eng. American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) za ocjenu stanja i vrednovanje mostova na temelju ispitivanja opterećenjem (Manual for Bridge Evaluation i Manual for Bridge Rating Through Load Testing). Navedeni priručnici predstavljaju referencu u predmetnom području u SAD-u i u ovome su radu korišteni kao izvor informacija o pripremi, iz-vođenju i analizi dijagnostičkog ispitivanja i ispitivanja kapaciteta nosivosti mostova.

Abstract (english)

This master thesis describes in detail the procedure of preparation and load testing of the bridge "Stara Karasica". Load testing of structures and their models enables engineers to obtain reliable data on the behavior and condition of the structure. The load test is used to assess the ability of the bridge to withstand the intended design loads. Testing of the bridge "Stara Karašica" was carried out in accordance with the Croatian standard HRN U.M 1.046: 1984 Testing of bridges with load test. Load tests can be devided to static and dynamic tests. In the static test, the values of displace-ments and strains of the span structure are determined under a known static test load. The dynamic test is based on determination of dynamic properties of the structure and measurement of structural reaction to dynamic loads under real operating conditions. By comparing the experimentally obta-ined measured values of displacements and dynamic parameters with the design values, we get an insight into the condition of the bridge and its safety before commissioning. In case of their effec-tive usage, these methods can extend the useful life of existing bridges in a cost-effective fashion. During the preparation of this thesis, I used the document Primer on Bridge Load Testing prepared by the Transportation Research Board (Evaluation of Transportation Structures), which is one of the seven major programs of the US National Academy of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine. The document was published to update the American Association of State Highway and Transpor-tation Offices pertinent documentation on condition assessment and rating of bridges based on load testing (Manual for Bridge Evaluation and Manual for Bridge Rating Through Load Testing). These manuals are a reference in this field in the United States and have been used in this thesis as a source of information for preparing, conducting, and evaluating diagnostic tests and proof test of bridges.
