Abstract

Električni cestovni sustavi ( su ceste koje omogućuju dinamičko napajanje električnih vozila dok se ona voze po njima. Predstavljaju obećavajuće rješenje za problem smanjenja emisija stakleničkih plinova. U zadnjih dvadesetak godina pokrenuta su 24 pilot projekta, među kojima su se defini rale tri glavne vrste električnih cestovnih sustava: induktivni, konduktivni prijenos energije s kontaktne mreže i konduktivni prijenos direktno s ceste. Induktivni je beskontaktan i oslanja se na inducirani magnetizam, dok se konduktivni sustavi napajaju zahvaljujući kontaktu između kabla i pantografa te tračnice i mehaničke ruke. Na temelju detaljne usporedbe različitih vrsta ECS a, može se zaključiti da su induktivni sustavi trenutno naj popularniji , s obzirom na uštedu koja se odnosi na količini materij ala za njihovu ugradnju te činjenicu da su najmanje skloni oštećenjima. Konduktivni sustavi s kontaktnom mrežom generiraju struju najveće snage te osiguravaju najbolju interoperabilnost i najmanje smetnji u prometu tijekom i nakon ugradnje. Konduktivni sustavi s napajanjem direktno s ceste najjeftiniji su te prihvaćaju najviše različitih tipova vozila , no zahtijevaju povremeno čišćenje tračnice ugrađene u kolnik, koja služi za napajanje istih. Druge vrste EC S a praktički ne zaht i jevaju održavanje, osim onog redovnog. Za sve se vrste očekuje sličan uporabni vijek . B itan aspekt je i jednostavnost ugradnje, odnosno nadogradnje postojeće ceste sustav s kontaktnom mrežom u ovom je pogledu n ajbolji jer ne zadire u asfalt. Od postojećih pilot projekata, najrazvijenija tri su različitih vrsta. OLEV je induktivni sustav u Južnoj Koreji koji pokriva nekolicinu ruta autobusa javnog prometa i predstavlja rješenje u gradskoj sredini. eHighway konduktivni sustav s kontak tnom mrežom namijenjen je za teretna vozila, dok je Elways s prijenosom energije direktno s ceste kompatibilan sa svim vozilima. Sva tri pilot projekta već su temeljito testiran a , sada im slijedi optimizacija, povećanje interoperabilnosti s drugim vrstama prometa te široka, javna implementacija.

Abstract (english)

Electric road systems are roads that enable dynamic charging of electric vehicles while they drive on them. They are a promising solution to the problem concerning greenhouse gas emissions. In the last two decades, 24 case studies have been developed, among which three different types of electric road systems were defined – inductive charging, conductive charging via catenary, and conductive charging via in-road rail. Inductive charging is contactless and relies on induced magnetism, while conductive systems are powered thanks to mechanical contact between cables and a pantograph or a rail and a mechanical arm, respectively. A thorough comparison of the different types of systems has led to the conclusion that the inductive ones are more popular, less prone to damage and have better visibility than their counterparts. Conductive systems with a catenary generate the most power, are most interoperable, and impact traffic the least, during and after installation. Conductive systems with an in-road rail are the cheapest and are suitable to power most different types of vehicles. All types are estimated to have a similar lifetime. They require no maintenance, except for the conductive in-road rail system whose rails require infrequent cleaning. Another important aspect is the ease of installation or enhancement of an existing road – the conductive catenary system wins here because it does not disturb the asphalt. Of all the existing case studies the three most developed are all different types. OLEV is an inductive system developed in South Korea. It covers multiple public transport bus routes and offers a solution for the urban environment. eHighway is a conductive system with a catenary and is intended for heavy duty vehicles, and Elways is a conductive in-road rail system compatible with all different types of vehicles. All three case studies have already been tested and proven. Optimization, increasing interoperability, and wide, public implementation are to follow.
