Abstract

Hidratacija cementa predstavlja složen kemijski proces tijekom kojeg dolazi do vezanja vode s česticama cementnog praha. Najčešće korišteni cement u građevinskoj industriji je portland cement, čiji klinker sadrži četiri osnovne faze: alit, belit, aluminatnu i feritnu fazu. Sva četiri minerala sudjeluju u fazi hidratacije, a kao nusprodukt oslobađa se toplina poznata kao toplina hidratacije. Abstract (english)

Hydration of cement represents a complex chemical process during which water binds to particles of cement powder. The most commonly used cement in the construction industry is portland cement, whose clinker consists of four primary phases: alite, belite, aluminate, and ferrite phases. All four minerals participate in the hydration phase, and as a byproduct, heat is released, known as heat of hydration.
