Abstract

Društveno odgovorno poslovanje u zadnjih nekoliko godina postaje sve važnije zbog pritiska na poduzeća da smanje svoj negativan utjecaj te ostvare pozitivne promjene na društvo. Integracija društveno odgovornog poslovanja u poslovnu strategiju poduzeća je važna jer bez kvalitetnog upravljanja ekonomskim, društvenim i okolišnim pitanjima ono ne može svoje poslovanje smatrati održivim. Društveno odgovornim poslovanjem građevinsko poduzeće na najsigurniji način stvara pozitivnu reputaciju među klijentima i unutar zajednice te privlači, ali i zadržava kvalitetne i sposobne zaposlenike. U suvremenom poslovnom svijetu dobra reputacija često predstavlja granicu između uspješnog i neuspješnog širenja na željena tržišta. Također, društveno odgovornim poslovanjem građevinsko poduzeće smanjuje potrošnju energije i resursa, količinu otpada, ali i vlastite troškove. U svrhu ostvarivanja cilja rada, provedeno je istraživanje kako bi se utvrdilo jesu li hrvatska građevinska poduzeća upoznata s konceptom društveno odgovornog poslovanja te primjenjuje li se društveno odgovorno poslovanje u hrvatskom građevinskom sektoru.

Abstract (english)

In the first few years, corporate social responsibility has become more important because of the pressure for companies to minimize their negative influence and to achieve positive changes in the society. Integration of corporate social responsibility in the business strategy of the company is important because its business cannot be sustainable without high quality management of economic, social and environmental issues. By corporate social responsibility, a construction company creates its positive reputation among its clients in the society and it attracts and keeps its high quality employees. In the modern business world, good reputation often represents the border line between successful and unsuccessful expansion to some wanted markets. By the corporate social responsibility, a construction company reduces its consumption of energy and resources and its personal costs too. For the purpose of achieving the aim of the work, a survey has been carried out to determine whether Croatian construction companies are familiar with the concept of socially responsible business and whether socially responsible business in the Croatian construction sector is being applied.
