Abstract

Potres je prirodna pojava koja svojim djelovanjem uzrokuje oštećenja konstrukcija, a u nekim slučajevima može doći i do rušenja čitave konstrukcije. Zidane konstrukcije posebno su osjetljive na djelovanje potresa zbog nedovoljne otpornosti na horizontalno opterećenje uzrokovano potresnim djelovanjem. Nakon potresa potrebno je vratiti građevine u prvobitno stanje i ojačati ih na potresno djelovanje kako u budućnosti ne bi došlo do jednakog ili većeg oštećenja. U ovom radu opisano je potresno djelovanje na građevine i oštećenja koja uzrokuje na pojedinim elementima zidanih zgrada. Također, opisane su metode sanacija i ojačanja zidanih konstrukcija nakon potresnog djelovanja. Na posljetku, prikazani su projekti sanacija crkve Uznesenja Blažene Djevice Marije u Pokupskom te Zagrebačke katedrale nakon potresa.

Abstract (english)

An earthquake is a natural phenomenon that causes damage to structures, and in some cases it can even lead to the collapse of the entire building. Masonry structures are particularly prone to damage caused by earthquakes due to insufficient resistance to horizontal loads caused by earthquakes. After an earthquake, it is necessary to restore the buildings to their original state and strengthen them so that the same or greater damage does not occur in the future. This paper describes the seismic impact on buildings and the damage it causes to individual elements of masonry buildings. Also, the methods of rehabilitation and strengthening of masonry structures after an earthquake are described. Finally, the restoration projects of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Pokupsko and the Zagreb Cathedral after the earthquake are presented.
