Abstract

Tema ovog rada je analiza višekatne spregnute zgrade, dimenzioniranje njenih elemenata te
procjena životnog ciklusa građevine. Rad se može podijeliti u tri cjeline. Prvi dio obuhvaća
teorijski pregled spregnutih konstrukcija, s analizom njihovih prednosti i nedostataka.
Također, razrađena je važnost i metodologija provođenja analize životnog ciklusa (LCA), uz
naglasak na održivo projektiranje. Obrađena su i temeljna načela i k riteriji koji su korišteni u
proračunu konstrukcije. Drugi dio rada posvećen je praktičnoj primjeni proračuna. Uključuje
analizu opterećenja, globalnu analizu konstrukcije te preliminarni izbor elemenata za
numerički model. Posebna pažnja posvećena je pror ačunu konstrukcije na granična stanja
nosivosti i uporabivosti, uz detaljnu analizu seizmičkih djelovanja. Uz to, proveden je
proračun karakterističnih priključaka. Završni dio rada odnosi se na primjenu LCA analize. U
ovoj fazi, uspoređene su tri različit e konstrukcije istih tlocrtnih dimenzija, ali izrađene od
različitih materijala. Analiza je usmjerena na kvantificiranje utjecaja konstrukcije na okoliš
kroz njen cijeli životni ciklus, od faze proizvodnje materijala do krajnjeg zbrinjavanja, s
posebnim na glaskom na ekološku održivost.

Abstract (english)

The topic of this master thesis is the analysis of a multi story structure building, the
dimensioning of its elements, and the life cycle assessment (LCA) of the structure. The paper
is divided into three sections. The first part provides a theoretical overview of composite
structures, analyzing their advantages and disadvantages. Additionally, it elaborates on t he
importance and methodology of conducting a life cycle assessment (LCA), with an emphasis
on sustainable design. Fundamental principles and criteria used in the structural design are
also addressed. The second part focuses on the practical application of the structural design.
It includes load analysis, a global structural analysis, and the preliminary selection of
elements for the numerical model. Special attention is given to the design of the structure
concerning ultimate and serviceability limit state s, alongside a detailed analysis of seismic
actions. Furthermore, a calculation of characteristic connections is performed. The final
section of the paper covers the application of LCA analysis. In this stage, three different
structures of identical floor plan dimensions but made from different materials are
compared. The analysis focuses on quantifying the environmental impact of the structure
throughout its entire life cycle, from material production to final disposal, with a particular
emphasis on ecolog ical sustainability.
