Abstract

U okviru znanosti o otpornosti materijala prilikom određenih proračuna pojavljuju se veličine ovisne o obliku, dimenzijama i položaju poprečnog presjeka (površine). Tim veličinama pripadaju statički momenti, momenti tromosti (inercije) i momenti otpora. Dakle, te veličine spadaju u geometrijske karakteristike poprečnih presjeka, što je i tema ovoga završnoga rada, a o njima će biti riječi u prvome poglavlju rada. Geometrijske karakteristike elemenata konstrukcije su bitne prilikom preuzimanja opterećenja kojem je konstrukcija izložena za vrijeme svoga životnoga vijeka, odnosno da ne dođe do prekoračenja dopuštenih naprezanja i deformacija. Pri djelovanju različitih vrsta opterećenja mjerodavne su različite geometrijske karakteristike poprečnih presjeka. Pri aksijalnome opterećenju štapa apsolutna vrijednost naprezanja ovisi, između ostalog, o površini poprečnoga presjeka. Kod savijanja važnu ulogu imaju aksijalni i centrifugalni (devijacijski) momenti tromosti, odnosno kod uvijanja polarni momenti tromosti. O primjeni geometrijskih karakteristika za proračun naprezanja pri različitim vrstama opterećenja govorit će se u drugome poglavlju rada. Završno poglavlje čine izračuni geometrijskih karakteristika različitih poprečnih presjeka te usporedba s rezultatima u AutoCAD-u.

Abstract (english)

Within the science of strength of materials, quantities appear in certain calculations, dependent on the shape, dimensions and position of the cross-section (surface). These quantities include static moments, moments of inertia and moments of resistance. Consequently, these quantities are the geometric characteristics of the cross-sections, which is the topic of this paper and will be discussed in its first chapter. The geometric characteristics of the structural elements are important under loading which the structure is exposed during its lifetime, that is, that no allowable stresses and deformations are exceeded. Different geometric characteristics of cross-sections are relevant under different types of loading. Thus, under axial load, the absolute value of the stress depends, inter alia, on the cross-sectional area. Under bending, axial and centrifugal (deviation) moments of inertia, or polar twisting moments of inertia, play an important role. The application of geometric characteristics for stress calculation at different types of loads will be discussed in the second chapter of the paper. The final chapter consists of calculations of the geometric characteristics of different cross-sections and a comparison with AutoCAD results.
