Abstract

U zimskom periodu u uvjetima intenzivnih snježnih oborina dolazi do taloženja snijega na prometnicama. Uobičajena procedura je uklanjanja snijega cestovnom mehanizacijom. Vjetar znatno utječe na taloženje snijega pa se preporučuje projektiranje prometnica tako da se izbjegne intenzivno taloženje snijega (nanosa) na voznim trakama. U diplomskom radu je pregledana i sistematizirana postojeća literatura o projektiranju prometnica kako bi se izbjeglo formiranja snježnih nanosa. Izrađen je i fizikalni model na kojem je u vjetrovnom tunelu provedeno ispitivanje strujne slike za nekoliko različitih nagiba pokosa te su dobiveni rezultati sistematizirani. Na osnovu navedenog su dane preporuke kako izbjeći prekomjerno taloženje snijega na kolničkim trakama.

Abstract (english)

In winter, heavy snowfall occurs on the roads. The usual procedure is to remove snow by road mechanization. The wind significantly affects the snow deposition, so it is advisable to design the roads in such a way as to avoid intensive snow deposition on the traffic lanes. The thesis reviews and systematize the existing literature on road design to avoid the formation of snow drifts. A physical model was also made and a shape of stream lines was tested in a wind tunnel for several different slopes and the results obtained were systematized. On the basis of the above, recommendations were made on how to avoid excessive snow accumulation on the traffic lanes.
