Abstract
U okviru ovog rada opisana su oštećenja vozne površine, te samih tračnica. Opisani su uzroci nastajanja oštećenja, njihov utjecaj na željeznicu i načini na koje se mogu nadzirati i sanirati. Opisana su učestala oštećenja koja se pojavljuju i uzrokuju kvarove ili čak otkazivanja tračnica. Detaljnije su opisana napuknuća na voznoj površini tračnica i umor materijala uslijed kotrljanja kotača po tračnici. Ističe se važnost sanacije i održavanje željeznica kako bi se pravovremeno otkrila i uklonila oštećenja. Korištenje novih tehnologija i unaprjeđenje otkrivanja oštećenja, te produljenje vijeka tračnica i udobnije korištenje istih.
Abstract (english)
Within this paper, defects to the running surface and the rails themselves is described. The causes of defects, their impact on the railway and the ways in which they can be monitored and repaired. Frequent damages that occur and cause failures or even rail failures are described. Rolling contact fatigue defects and Squat defects are described in more detail. The importance of repairing and maintaining the railways in order to detect and remove damage in a timely manner is emphasized. Use of new technologies and improvement of damage detection, as well as extension of rail life and more comfortable use of the same.
