Abstract

Sve većom implementacijom željezničkog prometa u svakodnevni život došlo je i do potrebe modernizacije željezničkih pruga te primjene novih materijala i tehnologija. Ako se promatra željeznički kolosijek, tračnice su svakako jedan od najvažnijih elemenata gornjeg ustroja koje su najviše izložene opterećenjima od željezničkih vozila. S ciljem povećanja trajnosnih svojstava tračnica, a time i kolosijeka, željezničke uprave u većoj mjeri uvode implementaciju tračnica s povećanom čvrstoćom glave tračnice. U ovome su radu analizirane karakteristike tračnica s povećanom čvrstoćom glave tračnice u usporedbi s uobičajenim tračnica te je prikazan utjecaj na troškove gradnje te na troškove održavanja kolosijeka.

Abstract (english)

Growing implementation of railway transport in everyday life has brought about the need to modernise railways and to apply new materials and technologies. When considering railway tracks, rails undoubtedly rank among the most significant elements of the permanent way, as they are the most exposed to loads imposed by railway vehicles. In order to increase durability properties of rails, and hence also of railway tracks, rail authorities have been extensively introducing rails with an increased strength at the head level. Properties of rails with an increased rail-head strength as compared to usual rails, are analysed in this paper, and the influence on construction cost, and on track maintenance cost, is presented.
