Abstract

Građevinski otpad predstavlja jako veliki problem današnjeg društva. Velike količine, ilegalna odlagališta, nedovoljna educiranost, onečišćenje okoliša samo su neki od razloga koje građevinski otpad čine trećinom otpada koji se godišnje proizvede u svijetu. Postoje građevine koje služe za gospodarenje otpadom. Gospodarenjem se utječe na smanjivanje količina otpada, sprječavanja njegovog nastanka, prijevoz i slične postupke kojima se pokušava smanjiti utjecaj otpada na sam okoliš, a samim time i neposredan utjecaj na čovjeka. Te građevine su: pretovarna stanica, reciklažno dvorište, te odlagalište građevinskog otpada. U ovom radu su opisane svaka posebno, te istaknute neke njihove prednosti i mane. Navedena je i njihova usporedba te koji bi bio najučinkovitiji način korištenja s obzirom na geografski smještaj i količinu otpada. Također, dani su i primjeri većinom iz Republike Hrvatske, te su neki od njih uspoređivani i sa primjerima iz svijeta kako bi se dobila opća slika usporedbe razvijenosti određenih zemalja u smislu gospodarenja građevinskim otpadom.

Abstract (english)

Construction waste is a very big problem of today's society. Large quantities, illegal landfills, insufficient education, environmental pollution are just some of the reasons that make construction waste a third of the waste produced annually in the world. There are buildings that are used for waste management. Management influences the reduction of waste quantities, prevention of its generation, transportation and similar procedures that try to reduce the impact of waste on the environment itself, and thus the direct impact on humans. These buildings are: a transfer station, a recycling yard, and a construction waste landfill. This paper describes each one separately, and highlights some of their advantages and disadvantages. Their comparison is also given and what would be the most efficient way of use considering the geographical location and the amount of waste. Also, examples are given mostly from the Republic of Croatia, and some of them were compared with examples from around the world in order to get a general picture of the comparison of the development of certain countries in terms of construction waste management.
