Abstract

Cilj ovog rada je pobliže objasniti lukove i nadvoje u zgradarstvu, njihovu povijest primjene, karakteristike, materijale od kojih se izvode, razne oblike, načine te uvjete izvedbe. Razmotrit će se nekoliko primjera gdje će se pokazati primjena lukova i nadvoja kako u povijesti, tako i danas. Lukove i nadvoje nalazimo na mjestima gdje je potrebno poduprijeti zid. Razlika lukova i nadvoja je u načinu prijenosa opterećenja. Također, kod lukova će se razmotriti njihova tlačna linija, a kod nadvoja kut rasprostiranja opterećenja. Primjena prvih lukova potječe iz 4000. godine prije Krista te se dolaskom novih materijala i znanja usavršava što je slučaj i kod nadvoja.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this work is to explain arches and lintels in building construction, their history of application, characteristics, materials from which they are made, various forms, methods and performance conditions. Several examples will be considered where the application of arches and lintels both in history and today will be shown. Arches and lintels are found in places where it is necessary to support the wall. The difference between arches and lintels is in the way the load is transferred. Also, in the case of arches, their pressure line will be considered, and in the case of lintels, the angle of load distribution. The use of the first arches dates back to 4000 years before Christ, and with the arrival of new materials and knowledge, it is perfected, which is also the case with lintels.
