Abstract

U energanama na drvnu biomasu kao nusproizvod nastaje pepeo koji je mješavina organskog i anorganskog sastava. Kemijski sastav i svojstva pepela drvne biomase ovise o vrsti upotrebljene drvne biomase, tehnologiji izgradnje i lokaciji na kojoj se pepeoprikuplja. Biopepeo ima veliki potencijal u primjeni kod betona kao djelomična zamjena za cement ili agregat. U ovom završnom radu su ispitana svojstva betona s letećim pepelom drvne biomase. Ispitivanje je provedeno na uzorcima od 3 mješavine od kojih je jedna bez dodatka pepela (referentna), a ostale dvije s udjelom pepela od 20 %. U teorijskom dijelu rada je opisano nastajanje biopepela te osnovna svojstva koja mora zadovoljiti betonski opločnik. U sklopu eksperimentalnog dijela su ispitana svojstva lijevanog betona s letećim pepelom drvne biomase: tlačna čvrstoća, kapilarno upijanje, upijanje vode te otpornost na smrzavanje i djelovanje soli. Dobiveni rezultati su uspoređeni s rezultatima referentne mješavine.

Abstract (english)

In woody biomass power plants one of the by-products is ash, consisting of a mixture of organic and inorganic components. The chemical structure and properties of wood biomass ash depending on the type of woody biomass, combustion technology and the local where ashes are collected. Biomass ash holds significant potential for use in concrete as a partial replacement for cement or aggregate. In this work, the properties of concrete containing fly ash from biomass. The study was conducted on samples of three mixtures: one without ash (the reference mixture) and the other two with ash contents of 20%. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the formation of bioash and essential characteristics that concrete pavers must meet. In the experimental section, the properties of cast concrete with fly ash from biomass were investigated, including compressive strength, capillary absorption, water absorption, frost resistance, and resistance to salt exposure. The obtained results were compared to those of the reference mixture.
