Abstract
Prirodni materijali imaju veliki potencijal masovnije upotrebe. Ovisno o materijalu i primjeni, svojstva su usporedna s učestalijim umjetnim materijalima, a prirodni učinak njihove proizvodnje i korištenja je neusporedivo bolji. Takvi materijali imaju mogućnost upijanja ugljičnog dioksida iz atmosfere, recikliranja nakon korištenja te ugradnje u novu građevinu ili se jednostavno razgrade u prirodi bez zagađivanja okoliša. Ubrzano se razvijaju novi sustavi predgotovljenih montažnih elemenata te istražuju novi načini upotrebe prirodnih materijala, a sve je to opisano u ovom radu.
Abstract (english)
Natural materials have a great potential for mass use in construction. Depending on material and use, they have comparable properties to more popular synthetic materials, but their environmental impact is much lower. These types of materials can absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, can be recycled and re-used in a new construction, or can simply decompose without contaminating the environment. New systems of prefabricated elements are extensively developed, also research is being conducted into new uses of natural materials, which are all described in this review paper.
