Abstract

Beton je najkorišteniji građevinski materijal. Osnovni sastojci su mu agregat, cement i voda, dok ovisno o traženim svojstvima konstrukcije, različitim kemijskim i mineralnim dodacima poboljšavaju se njegova mehanička i trajnosna svojstva. Uz pomoć dostupne literature u radu je prikazan razvoj betona kroz povijest, opisan je način proizvodnje običnog betona te dane prednosti i mane u odnosu na ostale građevinske materijale. Fokus u radu je dan na nove tehnologija betona, razvijene u 21. stoljeću, obzirom na trenutne izazove u gradnji, a to su: savitljivi betoni, beton visokih čvrstoća i visokih uporabnih svojstva, beton sa samočišćenjem, beton ojačan grafenom i prozirni ili svjetlopropusni beton. U radu je prikazan njihov sastav, svojstva te prednosti i mane u odnosu na obični beton. Za svaku tehnologiju dani su primjeri korištenja spomenutih vrsta betona.

Abstract (english)

Concrete is the most used building material. Its basic constituents are aggregate, cement and water, while various chemical and mineral additives improve its mechanical and durability properties, depending on the required structural properties. Based on the available literature, the thesis presents the development of concrete throughout history, describes the method of production of normal weight concrete, and highlights its advantages and disadvantages compared to other construction materials. The thesis focuses on new concrete technologies developed in the 21st century to meet current challenges in construction, namely: engineered cementitious composite, ultra-highperformance concrete, self-healing concrete, graphene-enhanced concrete, light translucent concrete. The paper presents their composition, properties, advantages and disadvantages compared to conventional concrete. For each technology, examples of the use of the mentioned concrete types are given.
